Overview
Automatic Softener Valve
The automatic valve is the brain of a softener. It meters the soft water used, and when the programmed volume (OBR) is reached it runs the full regeneration cycle by itself. ORG's BFT modification adds a low-pressure-switch input: if the water supply fails during regeneration, the valve holds its countdown until pressure returns, so the resin is always properly rinsed before it goes back into service.
