Overview

Automatic Filter Valve

A filter bed traps dirt until it clogs. The automatic filter valve reverses the flow on schedule to lift and clean the bed (backwash), rinses it to settle the media, and returns it to service without anyone touching it. The 556-series valves are specified by ORG for sand filters that work in front of a softener; the 536 series adds a big-screen display.
